Introduction
We built the Eco-Friendly Infrared Heater for places that need serious, steady heat—like yoga studios and gyms. It runs on shortwave infrared, so the warmth goes straight where it matters: into your clients’ bodies, not just the air around them. That means people hit a deep sweat faster. It keeps hot yoga and detox sessions feeling intense without pushing your HVAC into overdrive.
The Tech, Without the Fluff
We chose the specs to do one job well: deliver strong heat, again and again, even when classes are back-to-back. It runs on standard mains voltage, so you can wire it in without hunting down a dedicated high-voltage line. The wattage is tuned to pack enough punch across the whole space, so the temperature stays steady even when the room is full. And the heating element length is matched to typical ceiling mount spacing—so you get even coverage without the unit taking up more room than it needs.
What It’s Made Of
The heating element is a halogen-filled quartz tube, built to handle fast heating and cooling cycles. That design keeps output steady and takes stress off the filament when the power flips on and off. Since the tube runs hot, we added a high-temperature coating on the outside to manage surface heat and protect nearby materials. And the connector is R7s—an industrial standard that stays tight even as the tube expands and contracts. In other words: it’s a simple, tough setup built to work hard.
How It Feels in Real Life
Infrared heat penetrates the skin and warms the body directly, so people feel it right away. That lets you keep the room air cooler while clients still get that deep, sweaty work—more comfortable, and safer during hot yoga. For the studio, it means quicker warm-ups, stable temps between classes, and lower overall energy use compared to trying to heat the whole air volume. A heads-up, though: this unit runs hot, so you’ll want to plan mounting clearances and local ventilation. But when it’s set up right, the heat becomes a dependable part of the experience—one that adds real value to every session.
